Well this is it.

Tonight is my first night at work. It's taken a month since I was hired, but finally everything has fallen into place. I'm not going to lie, I'm very nervous. But that's just my anxiety. I have to try really hard to screw up a job like this (though to be completely honest I'm not sure what it is I'm going to be doing.) So I really should just relax. Breathe a bit. Innnn and ouuuut.

I don't understand why I have such a hard time with first days. Nobody expects anything from you yet. They know you have no idea where things go yet. And they are always nicest on the first day. I know I can do this, and I know I can do it well. After all, I've done practically the same thing for the past 3 years.
