Fantasy, Science Fiction and Me

I've always had a thing for writing. I dream up expansive worlds full of all sorts of magical beings. My problem is a sort of internal roadblock that keeps me from finishing what I start.

I'll get that itch, telling me to start writing. I write out my ideas on paper usually. Scribbling tales of lost empires and forgotten ruins in composition notebooks until my wrist burns and I need to stop. Sitting in front of a computer and writing is difficult for me, not because I can't type, but rather because I am easily distracted by the wonders of the internet. How many times can one man click the same web page in one day before he understands that it's not going to change anytime soon.

I think I'm going to draw out a schedule, a life with structure forces me to accomplish far more than freewheeling. I'll let you know how it goes.
